Warm Spring's Historic Bulloch House Restaurant Destroyed by Fire
Wednesday, June 10th, 2015
The Historic Bulloch House Restaurant in Warm Springs was destroyed by a fire early Wednesday morning.
No word yet on what may have sparked the blaze. No one was injured in the fire.
According the restaurant's website, the Bulloch House was built in 1893 by Benjamin F. Bulloch, cofounder of Bullochville, which is now Warm Springs.
He, his brother, and a cousin owned and operated Bulloch, Bussey and Company, playing a prominent role in the history and development of the town.
In 1990 the Bulloch House was purchased by Judy Foster and Charles and Sylvia Garrett at which time it was renovated into the popular restaurant that many people from across the country visited over the past 25 years.
Its current owners, Peter and Sandy Lampert, purchased the property in March 2011.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
