Georgia, 30 Other States Seeking Delay in Water Rule

The chief lawyers of 31 states, including Georgia, are asking the Environmental Protection Agency to delay a new clean-water rule that has drawn intense opposition from farmers and developers.
Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens and his counterparts are seeking a nine-month delay in implementation of the so-called “Waters of the United States” rule, citing a number of pending legal challenges.
