Many plan sponsors and insurers will be required to comply with Mandatory Reporting Requirements in 2016 (reporting on benefits provided during 2015). The IRS has released draft versions of the reporting forms.

Tara Silver-Malyska is a Senior Principal in the Willis Human Capital Practice National Legal & Research Group (NLRG) and responsible for the Southern region.

Tara is an accomplished attorney with over 20 years of experience focused on employee benefits, including health and welfare, qualified retirement and executive compensation. 

Tara is the American Bar Association (ABA), RPTE, Group Vice Chair, Employee Benefit Plans and Other Compensation Arrangements Group, and a member of the Tax Section. She is the Secretary for the Employee Benefits/Executive Compensation Section of the Dallas Bar Association. Tara is a Gulf Coast TE/GE Council Member and SouthWest Benefits Association (SWBA) member. She is the Past Program Chair for the Northern Virginia and Dallas Chapters of Worldwide Employee Benefit Network (WEB); the Past President D/FW Chapter and current Program Co-Chair Dallas Chapter and Past Seminar Chair and Board Member Capital Chapter of the International Society Certified Employee Benefits Society (CEBS); and Dallas Benefits Society Past Co-Chair.

Tara is a frequent speaker and author on employee benefit topics, including her ABA Spring Symposia presentation – What the Wind Blew in With Health Care Reform – Silver Lining or Torrential Downpour? and ABA Joint Tax Meeting - Forms 1094-C and 1095-C. Understanding Employer’s Reporting Obligations under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Serving in various sales and business development roles, Robbie’s focus centers on developing strategies and solutions to help employers and business groups understand and react to the changing healthcare landscape.

He is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, and holds the designations of Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) and is designated as a Certified Self-Funding Specialist (CSFS) by the Health Care Administrators Association.

Take I-16 West to Highway 96 West. Follow 96 West to Highway 80 West. Take 80 West into Columbus. Take the Columbus/Fort Benning exit (I-185 South) from I-185 take exit 7 and turn left (east) onto Manchester Expressway. Turn right at the first traffic light (University Avenue) near Burger King. Turn right at the first traffic light (Gentian Blvd.). Go approximately 2/10 mile and turn left into the Cunningham Center parking lot.

From Albany

Take Highway 82 (Corridor Z) North to I-185 north. From I-185 take exit 7A and turn right (east) onto Manchester Expressway. Turn right at the first traffic light (University Avenue) near Burger King. Turn right at the first traffic light (Gentian Blvd.). Go approximately 2/10 mile and turn left into the Cunningham Center parking lot.
