CruiseOne travel agency has recently granted franchise ownership to Joe Floyd, a military veteran, who will be offering a specialized travel service under the company name, Ascension Cruises and Excursions. It will lend its services nation-wide but more specifically to the Ft Benning, Columbus and Phoenix City areas.  CruiseOne-ACE is located at 5120-C Warm Springs Road, near the Schomburg intersection.

What makes ACE very different from any other Columbus area travel agency, it specializes in group travel, such church retreats, weddings, class and family reunions, corporate meetings and dinners, class proms, fund-raising events and any other land or waterway group event. Additionally, we offer a personalized service to help groups through the project management process…the step by step activities, required to plan the activity without forgetting key elements that will “break down” good intentions.

We help plan dream vacations for couples, and we have the ability to turn a couple’s cost into a discounted group rate by encouraging others to go on the same cruise to engage the discounted group rate. Our cruises range from a 2 day cruise for as low as $240 to one week to two week cruise which may cost as low as $800…of course it matters what time of year, where the cruise is going and how many days in advance and of course, what size cabin on which particular ship or riverboat. (Riverboat cruises exist in the US.)

ACE is now planning 2016 cruises, leaving in May, June and July. The idea is to plan now, in advance, to take advantage of current low prices, plus now, you can pick and choose which cabin you want….the cabins with balconies are usually the first to sell out.

To better provide a service to our community, at least, once per quarter, and also upon request, ACE will host a free or low cost training workshop on the Project Management techniques for planning a group land or cruise event. Planning is the key to success. The work shop teaches how to deal with risk, turning frowns into smiles. The next workshop will be held on October 9^nd at our office.
