WHAT:
Local attractions, businesses, and events can all benefit from the new digital kiosks that are scattered around the Columbus area. Located in hotels, visitors bureaus, and other points of interest such as the National Infantry Museum, SeeDoGo is striving to show visitors in our area “where the locals go.”
SeeDoGo is an innovative and contemporary new way to stay connected in a constantly changing market environment.
WHY:
There are over 1.8 million visitors travelling to our area. In fiscal year 2015, visitors spent around $340 million locally.
We want to drive those dollars directly to our local businesses and events by advertising to the tourists.
According to Peter Bowden, President of the Columbus Visitors Bureau, “SeeDoGo allows us to advance our strategic plan. This platform helps to extend the stay of visitors, recycle visitors, stimulate the economy through travel, and provides metrics to track what visitors are interested in. All of these qualities help the Visitors Bureau to keep the current marketing strategy focused.”
