TSYS TSS, -0.06% today announced that it will have three executives speak at the upcoming Money20/20 Conference, October 25 - 28, in Las Vegas, NV. Chuck Harris, president of NetSpend, a TSYS Company, will join Kelley Knutson, executive president of TSYS International, and Kim Ohlrogge, group executive of Global Product, TSYS, at this week’s conference.

Money20/20 is the largest global event focused on payments and financial services innovation for connected commerce at the intersection of mobile, retail, marketing services, data and technology. The conference annually draws over 10,000 attendees and many of the top CEOs from more than 3,000 companies ranging from more than 75 countries.

Ohlrogge will take part in the “Tokenization: Adoption, Standards 7 Stakeholder Implications” session on Monday, Oct. 26, from 8:00 – 8:50 a.m. PST. While most industry stakeholders consider payments tokenization to be the main hope for securing transactions – particularly for mobile – the panel will look at some of the challenges and opportunities it faces – like what work remains to be done and what changes are pending.

Knutson will participate in the “Payment Card Innovation & the Evolving Roles of Issuers Processors & Networks” on Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 9:35 – 10:25 a.m. PST. The panel will discuss how mobile, EMV, wearables and other disruptive technologies are impacting each stakeholder in the payments value chain. Pertinent questions include: Are roles shifting and are incumbents at risk?

Harris will take part in the “Cash in a Digitized World: The Last Resistance to Electronic Payments,” session on Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 5:10 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. PST. The panel will discuss how most banks and payment networks agree that their primary competitor is cash, not each other, why cash is still so dominant in the minds and behaviors of consumers and what is required to change this paradigm.
