Chandra Wright, United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley’s Director of Workplace Giving, is one of only 30 professionals from six countries selected to participate in the United Way Fellowship Program. The program is a year-long experience, directed at developing leadership and networking for United Way’s top professionals.
“Chandra’s selection is a great honor and a testament to her work ethic as well as her strong commitment to United Way and our community”, said United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley’s President and CEO, Scott Ferguson. “We are proud of her selection and this prestigious opportunity”.
Wright has been with the United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley for 10 years. She oversees the management of more than 120 Employee Campaign accounts which helped United Way exceed their 2015 campaign goal.
Born and raised in Cottonton, Alabama, her commitment to our community is clear. She is a member of the Phenix City Chamber of Commerce, Phenix City Rotary Board, and leader of the Youth and Young Adult program at her church.
This “rising star” is a positive representative of United Way and the valley. “I am appreciative and humbled by this opportunity,” said Wright. “I plan to make my community proud”.
