Physicians Working Together will celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the organization during the month of June. The group is has an international membership and as an organization seeks to educate communities, leaders, and the media on the challenges facing the American medical profession and its impact on patient care. PWT also advocates for the physical and mental well-being of physicians in order to facilitate excellent patient care in the communities they serve. “We are extremely excited about reaching this milestone of our organization,” said Dr. Kim Jackson, Founder of PWT. “We have accomplished a great deal in a short period of time, including raising the recognition of our group and spotlighting the years of sacrifice by those in our profession to serve our patients. I am looking forward to the growth of our organization, as we focus on the impact we can have in the future.”
To help celebrate the group’s first anniversary, PWT is posting a series of thoughts on its website from physicians called “Things your doctor wants you to know,” which includes ideas and perspectives on the medical profession and serving patients.
