EasyVista Inc., a leading provider of service management for IT organizations, announced that Georgia-based Columbus State University has selected EasyVista as its online service management platform for faculty and staff. As a part of the University System of Georgia, the institution delivers higher education degrees to 8,400 students in more than 100 programs including the arts, business, education, nursing, and the sciences.

With EasyVista, Columbus State University will offer its faculty and staff desktop and mobile access to important services — everything from IT support and repairs, transportation services, campus services, printing/mailing services, plant operations and more.

“We expect this platform to be easy to use for faculty and staff on campus so we can continue to provide excellent customer service for the various units on campus that will be using EasyVista, resulting in a much quicker response time and a higher level of end user satisfaction,” said Abraham George, Vice President and CIO at Columbus State University.

After an intensive review of options, Columbus State University selected EasyVista for its ease of use and service management administration, rapid time to deployment, and its service app capabilities.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with a respected learning institution like Columbus State University,” said Kevin Coppins, General Manager Americas, EasyVista. “Students represent a discriminating group of end users of our service management solution. They expect complete mobility, ease of use, self-service capabilities and more. Our growing portfolio of higher education customers is testament to the modern service platform we offer.”
