The Chattahoochee Valley Writers Conference hosts its 10th annual event!
On Friday, September 23rd, from 5:00 - 6:30 pm preceding the conference, we invite you to join us for wine and cheese at the historic Rothschild-Pound Inn at 201 7th Street, followed by a FREE poetry reading event at 7 pm at the Columbus Public Library on Macon Road showcasing award winning poets Michael Diebert and Dan Veach.
On Saturday, we offer keynote speaker Billy Winn, plus seminars in Memoir Writing by Brenda Sutton Rose, Fiction Writing by Michael Bishop, Student Communications by Rob St. Clair, Screenwriting by Ty Mann, Megan Cary with Creating An Online Presence, and poetry workshops by Michael Diebert and Dan Veach.
There will be workshops on book marketing. Poetry and short story contest winners will be announced, there will be a Writer's Forum hosted by Dr. Courtney George, a catered lunch, and door prizes galore.
