Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley is offering the “To Infinity & Beyond”, summer learning program, to give youth a safe place during their out-of-school-time in the summer. Youth participating in the program will experience action-packed activities that inspire creativity, build character, create a healthy lifestyle, and provide academic enrichment. Programs are being offered at all five club locations beginning Monday, June 5.

Forty-three millions children in America are unable to experience summer learning programs which leave learning deficits that takes six weeks or more to relearn old material. With more out-school-time in the summer, learning loss and risky behaviors becomes a greater challenge. Only 16% of Georgia’s youth are able to attend summer learning programs while 300,000 are left alone during the summer. BGCCV helps this challenge by offering programs that help the youth’s great future.

At $165 current Boys & Girls Clubs members and $205 for non-members will engage in activities with other youth and club professionals to develop confidence, a positive self-image, and to reach their full potential. Teens participate in the program at no cost. Also, the partnership between the Joint Military Services and Boys & Girls Clubs of America, “Mission Youth Outreach”, is giving all active military families a $100 voucher towards summer registration fees. “To Infinity & Beyond” is offered to children aged from 6-18 years old.
