The Harris County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce our Adult Leadership Program for 2017! This year's schedule is set to be an outstanding program for adult leadership development. Leadership Harris County is designed to introduce participants to the core foundations and inner workings of the county, ultimately positioning each graduate of the program to take on a role as a business and community leader. The course offers hands on and interactive sessions with topics such as our County’s natural resources, Economic Development, our Tourism industry, both the County Government & Judicial System, and Servant Leadership. One of the most popular sessions of the Leadership course is always the County Tour with Sheriff Mike Jolley. The program will also feature a day where our class will spend a day of service with one of Harris County’s non-profit organizations.
The program will run from early August – mid-November, with sessions held bi-weekly. Class size is limited to 24 participants and with this program only happening every two years, the spaces do fill up quickly. The cost of the program is $200 for participants.
