"Stopping Cancer in its Tracks” Focus for St. Francis PrimeTime Program June 22nd

Dr. Jill Moore will be leading a seminar entitled “Stopping Cancer in its Tracks” on Thursday, June 22, at 7 pm, part of the St. Francis PrimeTime programs. Registration and screenings start at 6:30 pm, with the program at 7 pm. The program will focus on screenings that adults should have in order to detect cancer during its earliest, most curable stages, as well as on steps to take to minimize risk factors.
 
This community seminar, which is open to the public, is being held in the Sara Ruth Carroll Auditorium in the Butler Pavilion at 2300 Manchester Expressway. Dr. Moore is a family practitioner affiliated with St. Francis Columbus Clinic. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, completing her residency training in Family Medicine at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC. She is board-certified in Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
 
The PrimeTime program is focused on helping people 50 and older live healthier longer lives by providing educational programs and health screenings.
