Every year, Georgia’s Small Business ROCK STARS honor the most outstanding and impactful small businesses in the state. As we’re gearing up for our fifth year, here’s five things you need to know:

1. Nominations for the 2018 Small Business ROCK STARS opens Tuesday, August 1^st. If you are a small business – or know a great one in your community – submit a nomination here. The deadline to apply is Oct. 31^st.

2. Small business is BIG business in Georgia! Nearly 98% of Georgia businesses employ less than 100 people.

3. Many notable businesses have been named past ROCK STARS including Savannah Bee Company, Atlanta Movie Tours, Creature Comforts Brewing Co., and DeKalb County’s Ecolink Inc., which is currently one of 17 finalists for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Big Dream Award. To vote for them, click here!

4. Georgia is home to the happy! The state ranks 5^th in the U.S. for small business optimism – customers, employees, financial health of industry (Womply, 5/17).
