Ashley Bush of Columbus, is one of 24 college students who recently completed a 10-week summer internship program through Mediacom Communications’ 10th annual Career Achievement Program.
 
Bush worked in the Area Operations department at the Columbus Mediacom office where she worked on profit and loss comparisons which directly affect the performance of business operations in the southwestern Georgia markets. Bush is entering her junior year at Wesleyan College where she is studying Advertising, Marketing and Business Administration.
 
Over the last 10 years, Mediacom Communications has had 103 interns participate in the Career Achievement Program across the field and at the corporate level. Out of 103 interns, 18 have returned for full-time employment. Mediacom continues to participate again next year and provide opportunities to develop young talent in local communities.
