TSYS announced that it has signed a multi-year, multi-country agreement to provide Scotiabank with both issuing and acquiring processing services on the TS Prime platform from TSYS’ Latin American Data Centre in Brazil. As part of the agreement, Scotiabank will convert its consumer card and acquirer portfolios in Costa Rica and Panama to TSYS’ market-leading TS Prime processing solution. In addition to processing services, TSYS will also provide fraud, risk and portfolio management tools.
“This agreement underpins the next phase of our growth strategy within the Latin American region, offering cross-border processing services on our modern, agile, server-based TS Prime platform from our regional hub in Brazil,” said Ross Stewart, general manager of TSYS Latin America. “We look forward to building on this partnership with Scotiabank throughout the region, supporting both their issuer and acquirer businesses with technology and a service model attuned to their diverse markets.”
The TS Prime processing platform for Latin America is another strategic service from TSYS’ PRIME Business Solutions, which offers licensing, processing and hybrid managed service propositions to international markets.
