Batson-Cook Veterans Day Honor Tour to NIM Today

WHERE: Guests will gather for a welcome and breakfast at Batson-Cook Construction located at 801 4th Avenue, West Point, GA 31833 and will then be transported to The National Infantry Museum, 1775 Legacy Way, Columbus. The bus will depart West Point at 8:30 AM and will arrive at the museum at approximately 9:25 AM.
WHY: To honor Veterans for their service to our country. The general contractor has arranged chartered transportation to the museum, guided tours, a movie screening and buffet lunch in their honor. Please see the attached itinerary for a full schedule and timing of the day.
This is the 9th year Batson-Cook Construction has hosted a Veteran’s Day Honor Bus Tour. In past years, the contractor brought guests – on chartered motor coaches – from other cities, including:

Itinerary
8:00 a.m. Light breakfast and fellowship at Batson-Cook Construction – 801 4th Avenue, West Point, GA 31833
8:30 a.m. Board bus for transportation to The National Infantry Museum - 1775 Legacy Way, Columbus, Georgia
9:25 a.m. Honor Guard will salute Veterans as they are welcomed to the Museum
9:45 a.m.-11:45 a.m. Veterans will receive guided tours of the museum
11:45 a.m. Lunch Banquet in the Museum’s Heritage Hall
1:00 p.m. Film Screening
2:00 p.m. Veterans will be “on their own” to visit the gift shop, return to exhibits, etc. in the museum.
3:00 p.m. Depart the museum for return trip to Batson-Cook – 801 4th Avenue, West Point, Georgia
3:45 p.m. Veterans will be greeted by flag-waving employees of Batson-Cook as well as Point University Students and staff upon their arrival at Batson-Cook
