The CSO & The Columbus Ballet's Sleeping Beauty March 16th
Staff Report From Columbus CEO
Monday, March 12th, 2018
The Columbus Symphony Orchestra and the dancers of The Columbus Ballet join together to present Tchaikovsky’s “Sleeping Beauty” on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 7:30 PM at the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts. Free and interactive pre-concert activities within the RiverCenter at 6:30 PM will make this a delightful evening for the whole family.
Laura Johnson, Co-Director of the Columbus Ballet, says "Bridget Adams, my fellow Co-Director, and I are so excited to bring this timeless fairy tale to the stage. I think most children know the story of Princess Aurora and how she is saved by the kiss of her beloved Prince, but what is so fun for us is that we get to present a cast of fanciful characters, many children already know from other stories, in the ballet version of Sleeping Beauty. It will leave everyone feeling happily ever after!"
“Sleeping Beauty” is presented by SunTrust, Valley Parent Magazine, Sunny100, WLTZ, Georgia Council for the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Concert tickets range from $5 - $20 and may be purchased at the RiverCenter Box Office, Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 5:30 PM or one hour prior to the performance (enter doors located on Broadway). Adult tickets are available for $20. Student tickets are available for $10. Tickets for children under 12 years of age are $5.
