Columbus residents will show off their best dance moves to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter. Dancing Stars of Columbus will take place on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Columbus Georgia Convention and Trade Center in Columbus, Georgia.

Mirroring the popular TV show, this event pairs local Columbus residents with professional dancers to raise money by gaining votes in a one-night dance competition. Fans can vote online for just $1 prior to the event, with proceeds benefiting the Georgia Chapter of Alzheimer's Association. The Alzheimer's Association is the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's research, care and support. Its mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research, to provide and enhance care and support for all affected and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

The event will be hosted by Amy Adams, Beatycounter Director and Community Volunteer and Dr. Jonathan Liss, Board Certified Neurologist and Founder of Columbus Memory Center.

Lead Celebrity Judge is Roddy Hunter, Senior Consultant, Global Procurement at TSYS. Other Celebrity Judges include Wanda Amos, Crystal Trawick, Dr. Henry Ngo, Chris Harman, Marie Moshell, Dr. Vincent Naman and Dr. Alap Shah.
