The Piedmont Columbus Regional Health Foundation will host the 23rd annual 2018 Synovus Celebrity Classic, a 3-day tennis and golf tournament, April 20-23 benefitting the John B. Amos Cancer Center.  The event kicks off at 8am Friday with the tennis tournament at Cooper Creek with guest Coach Luke Jensen and continues Saturday with Coach Jensen’s Junior Clinic at the Country Club of Columbus. We conclude Monday with the golf tournament and reception at Green Island Country Club.  All proceeds from the Synovus Celebrity Classic benefit the John B. Amos Cancer Center.

The Synovus Celebrity Classic tennis event kicks off with registration and a continental breakfast, followed by tennis clinics with the Peter Burwash International (PBI) Pros. The afternoon activities begin with lunch and a very special Cancer Survivor Story then round robin tennis tournament. A special exhibition follows with a cocktail Awards Reception and the drawing for a trip to the 2018 US Open.
 
Throughout the day, participants and guests will have the opportunity bid on extraordinary resort trips provided by our PBI Tennis Pros.

The Jr. Tennis Event offers youth (ages 9 to 14) the opportunity to receive professional tennis instruction from the PBI Pros. Breakfast and lunch are provided with an awards reception at the end of the day.

The Synovus Celebrity Classic Golf Tournament rounds out the weekend’s events with a morning and afternoon flight of golf. The morning flight begins with registration and continental breakfast. A luncheon and morning flight winners announced & trophies awarded will break the day up. The afternoon flight begins at 2 p.m. is followed by a cocktail Awards Reception that all golf participants are invited to attend. Trophies presented to Net & Gross team winners!
