Federal Approach to Transportation Funding Mirrors Georgia

The federal government is taking a page from Georgia’s playbook. Infrastructure legislation backed by President Donald Trump now before Congress would use $200 billion in federal dollars to leverage up to $1.5 trillion in state, local and private sector financing for highway, transit, water, sewer and broadband projects.
