The first ever Pasafest is coming to Columbus State University’s Pasaquan in Buena Vista, Ga, on Nov. 10. The festival will feature a lineup of blues, rock, and folk music, as well as visual artists, food vendors, and fortune tellers. Offsite camping with shuttle transportation will also be available at Omaha Brewing Co.
 
Tickets for Pasafest can be pre-purchased online for $20 or at the gate for $30. Discounts are available for children under 12 and students. All proceeds go to the continuing support of Pasaquan.
 
Pasaquan is a 7-acre visionary art environment that includes six major ornate structures, psychedelic mandala murals and over 900 feet of beautifully painted masonry walls. Pasaquan creator Eddie Owen Martin, a self-taught Southern artist, - inspired by African, Columbian, Mexican and Native American cultures - developed Pasaquan over the course of 30 years. In 2014, the Kohler Foundation Inc, Pasaquan Preservation Society, and Columbus State University partnered to restore and preserve the art environment and to create events, programming and educational activities like Pasafest.
