St. Anne Community Outreach to Continue to Provide Food to Federal Employees

St. Anne Community Outreach, in partnership with Feeding the Valley Food Bank, will continue to offer grocery assistance to all local federal employees affected by the government shutdown.  The Outreach Center, located at 1820 Box Road, in Columbus, GA will open again on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Employees will be required to show a federal employee ID to receive assistance. The United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley will also be present to help provide resources for anyone needing any other type of assistance.
 
Community members wanting to donate nonperishable food, hygiene items or cleaning supplies may do so by dropping them off at St. Anne Community Outreach between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and Noon Monday-Thursday. A Federal Employee Emergency Assistance Fund has also been set up and donations can be made online at www.stannecsg.com/outreach
