Columbus Memory Center Joins the Alzheimer’s Association as 2019 Dancing Stars of Columbus Sponsor

Columbus Memory Center will join the Alzheimer’s Association as a 2019 Dancing Stars of Columbus sponsor.

“We are so honored to have the Columbus Memory Center returning as our presenting sponsor for this year’s Dancing Stars of Columbus”, added Kim Ankekeirer, co-chair, 2019 Dancing Stars of Columbus. “Dr. Jonathan Liss’s mission to end Alzheimer’s disease is such an inspiration and a perfect fit for providing education and support to our organization and this event.  Our team has put together the best group of star dancers and professionals who will amaze and entertain you”.

Dancing Stars of Columbus is celebrating its eleventh year with sixteen Columbus star dancers. The Dancing Stars of Columbus cast members include Mary Bailey Bryan, Dr. Rajeev Chauhan, Dr. Nick Smith, Erin Stillwell, Margie Norman, Dr. Chasity Reese, Teddy Reese, Jason Pease, Jeff Pitts, Laura Frances Smith, Corrin Riley, Dr. Casey Geringer, Dr. Christine Senn, Joel Stenslie, Rev. Brett Maddocks, Flournoy Henry and Chris Kendrick. Emcees include Amy Adams and Dr. Jonathan Liss.

 “It has taken more than 100 years for scientists to gain enough knowledge to formulate research medications that are likely to have a major impact on Alzheimer’s disease”, added Dr. Jonathan Liss, Founder and primary physician, The Columbus Memory Center. “It is quite possible that one or more of these medications will be available for everyday use in the next few years. We would not have reached this day without the tireless support and leadership of the Alzheimer’s Association. It is with a combination of great pride and abundant thankfulness that Columbus Memory Center serves as this year’s Dancing Stars Presenting Sponsor”.

The annual event, will take place on April 5, 2019 at the Columbus Georgia Convention and Trade Center, and all the money raised will support Alzheimer’s care, support and research with the Alzheimer’s Association.
