Columbus State University invites prospective students, parents and guests to visit campus on Saturday, Feb. 16 for Discovery Day. The event will include opportunities to tour both campuses, meet professors, see campus housing, and enjoy lunch at CSU's Cougar Cafe.
Students and their parents will get a firsthand look at CSU's campus with a personalized experience for each attendee. There will be an interactive game show called Cougar Feud, as well as informational sessions on honors program, Servant Leadership and study abroad opportunities.
Those interested in attending should pre-register online at https://admissions.columbusstate.edu/discoveryday.php. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
An additional Discovery Day is scheduled for March 30.
Tips for making the most of Discovery Day:
- Register early. Discovery Day fills up fast and registration ensures lunch at CSU's main campus dining facility.
- Dress comfortably. Campus tours are walking tours, so wear walking shoes and dress for the outdoors.
- Revew CSU degree options. A "Meet Your Major" session will allow attendees the opportunity to talk to professors from many academic departments. A complete list of CSU degrees, majors and programs is available at https://www.columbusstate.edu/degrees/.
