The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley (BGCCV) are bringing together women of all diversities who have a desire to educate, engage and support BGGCV youth through development efforts in the Chattahoochee Valley with the 6th Annual Women’s Giving Circle. On April 4, 2019 at 11:30 AM, the Women’s Giving Circle will hold an informational luncheon to benefit the Fine Arts Program of BGCCV while sharing its mission.
At $40 per person, guests will dine at the Green Island Hills Country Club and view artwork from BGCCV kids. The artwork will be a demonstration of the Women’s Giving Circle’s efforts to cultivate through the Fine Arts Program within the clubs. All proceeds raised from the lucheon will go directly to support to the local clubs to provide supplies and resources for club members to participate in more Fine Arts related programming.
The Fine Arts Program gives members the opportunity to tap into their inner artists, express themselves creatively and take risks in a safe and nurturing environment. With efforts and funds raised through the Women’s Giving Circle, BGCCV work to sustain their Fine Arts Program within the five clubs in the Chattahoochee Valley.
In addition, the Women’s Giving Circle hosts a local art event at the Columbus Museum in November, showcasing club members’ artwork with the winners’ art going onto the Southeast Regional competition and possibly the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Fine Arts Competition.
