The Georgia Department of Labor is partnering with the Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce and the Columbus Georgia Convention and Trade Center for an upcoming job readiness event.
 
The event will be held on July 10 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Columbus Trade and Convention Center, 801 Front Avenue, Columbus, Ga.
 
Attendees of this event will have the opportunity to take advantage of workshops and other services to better prepare them for the career expo.
 
Services will include computers for résumé development and job search, résuméreview, and workshops covering a wide array of topics including: Interviewing, dressing appropriately, interpersonal communication, soft skills, re-entering the workforce, and résumé writing.
 
The career expo will be held on July 24 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Columbus Trade and Convention Center, 801 Front Avenue, Columbus, Ga.
