The Junior League of Columbus (JLC) will host its annual Lakebottom 5K, a fun event for the whole family!  In addition to the 5K, we will also host a Tot Trot and a 1-mile race.  The event will be held at Lakebottom Park on Saturday, August 17, 2019.  The 1-mile race will start at 7:30 am, the 5K will begin at 8:00 am, and the Tot Trot will begin at 9:30 am.  Bring the family for a morning filled with bounce houses, face painting and a baby rest stop, complete with diaper change and breast feeding areas!  This race is part of the Columbus Road Runners Summer Series.

Pre-registration is open through Thursday, August 15th.  Pre-registration fees are $15 for the Tot Trot, $20 for the 1-Mile, and $30 for the 5K. All pre-registered runners will receive a t-shirt. No pre-registrations will be accepted after August 15th, and runners must register on race day. Race day rates are $20 for the Tot Trot, $25 for the 1-Mile, and $35 for the 5K. Those who register after August 2nd are not guaranteed a t-shirt on race day.

Chip timing will be provided. All participants in the 1-Mile will receive a medal. Medals will be awarded to 5K participants in categories, including first, second and third overall male and female; first masters (over 40) male and female; and first, second and third by age group (under 14; 15‐19; 20‐29; 30‐39; 40‐49; 50‐59; 60-69, and 70+).
