The Muscogee County Library Foundation (MCLF) will host their 5th Annual Wine Women & Shoes at 6 p.m., Thursday, November 14, at the Columbus Public Library. The event will host 350 wine-savvy, shoe-loving guests and will feature a glamorous fashion show; a marketplace for attendees to shop a special collection of apparel and accessories, reflective of the latest trends; wine tastings; a wine raffle; a fun, spirited “Key to the Closet” raffle where winner takes all clothing, accessories, cosmetics and gift certificates (valued at more than $4,000!); a live auction, providing attendees the chance to bid on travel packages, wine and unique experiences; and of course, charismatic Sole Men who will present the latest shoe trends on silver platters! Columbus community leader Mallory Mize serves as Chair for the event.

WW&S is a fundraising organization that creates events centered on luxury fashion, fine wines and charities in need. In 15 years, WW&S has helped raise more than $75 million in new revenue for various women and family-related causes through the execution of more than 500 well-attended events across the country.

Since inception in 2015, Wine Women & Shoes has raised more than $350,000 for the public libraries in Columbus, funding the collection, e-resources, and a new staff position to focus on outreach to children in the community. “Wine Women & Shoes provides the opportunity for the community to enjoy a fun evening surrounded by exceptional fashion, food and wine with a purpose,” says Laura Ann Mann, executive director, Muscogee County Library Foundation. “By purchasing a ticket, event attendees are helping fund MCLF’s mission to ensure there is adequate support to keep the Muscogee County libraries a vibrant part of our community,” she adds.

Tickets are $100 and are on sale now. General Admission tickets include a trendy swag bag filled with a variety of goodies that women will love! VIP (Very Important Pump) admission is $200 and includes a VIP swag bag full of fabulous gifts, valet parking and premier seating during the fashion show so you can kick up your heels and enjoy the show.
