The Junior League of Columbus (JLC) will host its annual Lakebottom 5K on August 22, 2020. In addition to the 5K, participants can also choose to run the 1-mile option. Social distancing measures will be enforced with runners assigned to waves starting at 7:00 a.m. for the 5k and 8:15 a.m. for the 1-mile. The live race event will be held at Lakebottom Park. A virtual 5k, 1-mile and Tot trot will also be offered. This race is part of the Columbus Road Runners Summer Series. 

Registration for the in-person 5K and 1-mile race is open through Thursday, August 14^th.  Rates for the live event are $20 for the 1-Mile and $30 for the 5K. Limited spots are available so register today. Sign-up for the virtual 5k, 1-mile race and Tot Trot is offered through August 22^nd.  Virtual race rates are $25 for the 5k, $15 for the 1-Mile, and $10 for the Tot Trot. All registered runners will receive a t-shirt. Photograph your tot walking 25 yards and upload to social media using #JLCTotTrot. All Tot Trot participants will be entered to win a prize. 

Chip timing will be provided. All participants in the 1-Mile will receive a medal. Medals will be awarded to 5K participants in categories, including first, second and third overall male and female; first masters (over 40) male and female; and first, second and third by age group (under 14; 15‐19; 20‐29; 30‐39; 40‐49; 50‐59; 60-69, and 70+).
