Charis Chambers, M.D., also known as “The Period Doctor” has joined the Piedmont family and will be the provider for the new Piedmont Physicians Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology.

Chambers is a board-certified OB/GYN and fellowship trained Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecologist. Dr. Chambers attended grade school in Phenix City and is excited to be home and practicing in the same town as her father and brother—who are OB/GYN providers, Drs. Crandall and Wesley Chambers.

“My goal is to provide excellent subspecialty care while educating and empowering my patients. My hope is to ultimately ‘change the cycle’ of generational misconceptions in reproductive health,” said Chambers.

She is particularly interested in contraception for medically complex patients, menstrual disorders, and patient education. 

Piedmont Physicians Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology is located on 17^th street behind the Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus. Dr. Chambers is accepting new patients and virtual visits are available.
