CSU Again Makes Rank as a Military Friendly School
Thursday, February 25th, 2021
For the second year in a row, CSU has received the Military School GOLD designation as a Military Friendly School by G.I. Jobs magazine.
The list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools that embrace America’s veterans as students. The Military Friendly Schools list is the gold standard in letting veterans know which schools will offer them the greatest opportunities and benefits, including on-campus veterans programs, credit for service, military spouse programs and more.
“CSU is an excellent choice for military-affiliated students because we have faculty, staff and supporters dedicated to the success of our students,” added Susan Lovell, director of Military Enrollment and Adult Learners. “Veterans, active-duty servicemembers and their families have access to academic advisors, tutors, and military enrollment counselors — in addition to services such as Suits for Veterans, Peer-to-Peer Counseling and scholarship opportunities.”
The list is compiled through exhaustive research through which G.I. Jobs polled more than 7,000 schools nationwide. The methodology, criteria and weighting for the list was developed with the assistance of an academic advisory board consisting of educators from across the country.
The 2021-2022 Military Friendly Schools list will be published in the May issue of G.I. Jobs magazine and can be found at www.militaryfriendly.com.
