Enrichment Services Program (ESP) welcomes four new members to its Board of Directors: Sherri Brown (Troup County), Dr. Thomas Canning- Skinner (Meriwether County), Dr. Roy Nichols (Troup County), and Patty Youngblood (Troup County). These members will support the strategic leadership and governance of the organization and join the twenty board members who are already serving as advocates to eliminate poverty through education, services, and partnerships for over 6,000 Georgia and Alabama residents across an eleven-county service area.
"We are thrilled to be welcoming these board members who join an already incredible group of board of directors," shared Belva Dorsey, Chief Executive Officer at ESP. "We look forward to having their experience as we continue to increase the awareness of the impact of poverty and implementing strategies for reducing it. By identifying and removing barriers, we are helping families achieve family stability and promote stability."
Sherri Brown is the executive director of Circles of Troup County. Circles of Troup County identifies and eliminates the causes of poverty and supports those wishing to lift themselves out of poverty. Dr. Thomas Canning-Skinner is a thirty-six-year employee of Delta Air Lines, Inc., and licensed Pre-K through 12 counselor, who has served in the Troup, Cherokee, and Cobb school systems and private practice.
