Mister Sparky, the leading provider of residential electrical services, announced today it is expanding into the Chattahoochee Valley, Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL areas with the conversion of long-standing local business, Ritch Electric. Located at 1115 14th Street, the new female-owned and operated franchise officially opened as Mister Sparky of Columbus GA and will provide premium electrical services to the Chattahoochee Valley community. Mister Sparky of Columbus GA is owned and operated by Betsy Ritch-Reed, who has been a well-known service provider in the local community with family-owned Ritch Electric. Started by her father Benjamin W. Ritch, Sr. in 1968, Ritch-Reed stepped in as President in 1996. In an effort to expand her offerings and the team’s training opportunities, Ritch-Reed decided to convert to a Mister Sparky franchise and continue to ensure homeowners’ electrical systems are receiving the best service possible year-round. Ritch-Reed will operate the business, manage the staff and day-to-day operations.
