Wednesday, May 4th, 2022
Mrs. Brewster has served as our high school's Assistant Principal since July 2018. She earned a bachelor's degree in Education from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, after completing student teaching in Kingston, England. Mrs. Brewster also holds a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Columbus State University. Over her career, she has taught middle school Math, Language Arts, PE, and High School English. She began teaching 11th grade Religion at St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School in January 2015. Prior to being named Assistant Principal in 2018, she served in administrative support for two school years at our high school.
"I am a firm believer in Catholic education and feel extremely blessed to be part of the St. Anne-Pacelli family," Mrs. Brewster said. Mrs. Brewster will assume the responsibilities of high school principal from Ms. Ronie Collins, who will transition her focus to solely serving as St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School President on July 1, 2022.
Diocese of Savannah Superintendent for Catholic Schools Carrie Jane Williamson said Mrs. Brewster has a great love for the Catholic faith and a passion for education. "Her love for St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School, along with her dedication to Catholic education, will make her a strong asset in providing an environment to develop each student in the school's four core values of faith, honesty, loyalty and respect," said Williamson.
When she’s not at work, Mrs. Brewster enjoys gardening, reading, watching SEC football, and cheering for our Viking student-athletes. She and her husband, Col. Wayne Brewster, have three children: Mary Beth, St. Anne-Pacelli Class of 2016; Benjamin, St. Anne-Pacelli Class of 2018; and Samuel, St. Anne-Pacelli Class of 2020.
