Columbus Technical College to Host Back to School Bash

On Thursday, July 28, 2022, Columbus Technical College (CTC) will host its annual Back to School Bash event. This community wide event is designed to provide much need school supplies for families gearing up for the start of a new school year. The occasion also provides great opportunity for prospective student families to learn more about state-of-the-art programs CTC offers in Business, General Studies, Health Science, Nursing, and Professional and Technical Services.
What: The CTC Student Leadership Council will provide K-12 students in the local community with FREE book bags, school supplies, music, food and a welcoming atmosphere. As with all CTC events, program staff will be on hand to provide information about the institutions 200+ program areas and to give live demonstrations. Interested individuals should attend and take advantage of the free resources that will be distributed and also to learn more about how CTC has a 98% job placement rate that helped position 2022 graduates to increase their annual income by $4500 to $8500.
CTC offers technical certificates of credit, diplomas and associate degrees in program areas like nursing, dental assisting, emergency medical services, early childhood care and education, drafting technology, machine tool technology, computer networking, criminal justice, cosmetology and barbering, welding, and many more.
*New this year: Current and prospective students attending the Back-to-School Bash event will receive the following:

Free books for all students and no cost tuition for Hope Career Grant programs of study

Access to Department of Public Health (DPH) COVID-19 Vaccination/Booster Clinic
