Columbus Technical College Recognizes Jim Trott

On Tuesday, July 26, Columbus Technical College (CTC) presented Jim Trott with service recognition awards for over nine years of benevolence.

His years on record include time served on the CTC Board of Directors (2013-2022), as Vice Chair (2016-2017) and Chairman (2017-2018).

“We are grateful to Jim for his many contributions to the growth and sustainability of our institution over the past nine years,” said Martha Ann Todd, Columbus Technical College President.  His impact at our great institution and in the local community are far and wide reaching and will be celebrated for many years to come."

During his tenure, many milestones were reached at CTC including:  10,392 students attending free Adult Education and English as a Second Language (ESL) courses, 828 students receiving high school equivalency certificates, 49,194 total students matriculating with 9,776 graduates earning 3,999 degrees, 2,182 diplomas, and 9,840 technical certificates of credit.  Additionally, 53,350 students have participated in customized training provided to employers in the local Columbus and surrounding area during this same span of time.
