Columbus Technical College (CTC) is celebrating the holidays with children in the local Chattahoochee Valley area. Thanks to the generous donations of faculty, staff, board and trustee members, community partners and tremendous support from the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG), over 82 children will have their Christmas Wishlist completely filled.

CTC Student Affairs is working diligently with the Muscogee County Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) in conjunction with Clark’s Christmas Kids, to provide holiday cheer for underserved children and to help ensure that each foster child in the area has a gift on Christmas day.

Martha Ann Todd, President of Columbus Tech said, “We believe it is our responsibility at CTC to invest in the futures of the children in our community. We appreciate the opportunity to share at this level and make a difference in the lives of those around us as we help preserve the future of Columbus and lend a feeling of social equity for these deserving families.”

Clark’s Christmas Kids is a nationally acclaimed project started over 32 years ago by popular television news anchor Clark Howard, in partnership with WSB-Radio and DFCS and with program support from Walmart, WSB-TV and St. Vincent de Paul. Coordinators ask that supporters help spread awareness on social media using the hashtag #clarkschristmaskids.
