Michael Chalmers, franchise owner of Spherion Staffing and Recruiting (Spherion) in Columbus, was recently presented with the Carol Peters Spirit award during the Spherion 2023 National Meeting.

Chalmers was presented the award for exemplifying a generous spirit in his contributions to the company and his local communities while maintaining Spherion’s core values. The award is named after a former franchise owner who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.

“It’s an incredible honor to be named this year’s Carol Peters Spirit award winner,” said Chalmers. “Giving back is at the core of our mission at Spherion to better the communities we call home, and we hope that our work continues to make a positive impact in the areas we serve.”

Spherion’s 2023 National Meeting was held at the Omni Hotel in Fort Worth from March 30 to April 1. While there, franchisees had the chance to reconnect with each other and with members of the corporate team face-to-face while participating in educational workshops to foster Spherion’s culture of continuous growth and improvement.
