On Friday, May 19, Chattahoochee Valley Community College (CVCC) team members pulled together (literally) for a great cause!

Athletic Director and Head Men’s Basketball Coach Ben Hicks organized the CVCC team for the second annual East Alabama Chamber of Commerce Fire Truck Pull fundraiser. The funds raised will be allocated towards providing scholarships for high school students, supporting community development projects, and assistance for entrepreneurial start-up support programs. The event saw enthusiastic participation from faculty and staff who joined forces to contribute to this worthy cause.

“We finished in the middle of the leaderboard this year, but we are already making strategic plans to finish FIRST next year,” said Coach Hicks. “This is not only a fantastic cause to support but a great team-building exercise!”
