Chattahoochee Valley Community College’s (CVCC) 2023 Commencement Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 5, at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center, Columbus, Georgia, at 10 AM EST. 

Approximately 286 students have met graduation requirements, including eleven (11) Dual Enrollment students. The faculty marshals are Dr. William Byrd and Gilbert Slouchick. Student marshals are Alexis Becker and Antonio Davis. 

In honor of CVCC’s 50^th Anniversary, faculty and members of the first graduating class have been invited as special guests and will be recognized during the ceremony. 

"As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, I am especially proud of the upcoming graduating class. They represent the culmination of five decades of academic excellence and community engagement,” said CVCC President Jackie Screws. “As they prepare to embark on the next chapter of their lives, I am confident they will continue to make us proud in all their future endeavors. Congratulations to the Class of 2023 and all those who have contributed to their success.”
