The Piedmont Columbus Regional Foundation was recently recognized at the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals Conference.

They received honors in the small markets category for having the highest year-over-year growth (47.53%) and the highest overall fundraising ($4.3 million), for calendar year 2022— beating out 58 of the 170 total CMN hospitals.

"Our CMN team continues to excel in their fundraising year after year,” said Piedmont Columbus Regional Foundation Executive Director Aline Lasseter. “I’m so proud they are recognized for their commitment to raising funds for the Bill and Olivia Amos Children's Hospital through our CMN program; honestly, whether it's working with national partners, developing new local events, or engaging Miracle Families to create awareness, it’s always about the kids we treat that drives them to be successful."

President and CEO of CMN Hospitals Teri Nestel presented the Columbus Foundation with the awards.

Since 1995, CMN at Piedmont Columbus Regional has raised more than $12 million, which serves children in 21 surrounding counties, including four in east Alabama. Funds raised support the Bill and Olivia Amos Children's Hospital at Piedmont Columbus Regional including the pediatric emergency department, the neonatal intensive care unit, and all other pediatric areas of Piedmont Columbus Regional. Whether a broken arm or a chronic condition, CMN supports the health and wellbeing of our youngest patients.
