On Saturday, August 5, Chattahoochee Valley Community College will host its Fall Kickoff and 50^thAnniversary celebration event. This event is free and open to everyone. It will be held on the CVCC campus from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The campus is located at 2602 College Drive in Phenix City.

 Attractions will include food truck vendors, popcorn and cotton candy, games and activities for kids, program demonstrations, face painting, music, and prize giveaways. In addition, the Health Science department will hold an open house for anyone interested in touring the facility and learning more about the programs offered.

This event will also celebrate CVCC’s 50^th Anniversary and is a great opportunity to discover all the College offers! Learn about admissions, financial aid, academic and career technical programs, clubs and organizations, and athletics. Information will also be available about the new COMPASS (Comprehensive Onboarding by Mapping a Pathway for Advising & Student Success) initiative, which is designed to provide students with everything they need to succeed while at CVCC.

Finally, there will be scholarship giveaways and a chance to meet the College’s very own Captain Sea V. This is a fantastic event for the whole family to enjoy, so we hope to see you there!
