ABT Studio Company

ABT Studio Company, the junior company of American Ballet Theatre, is made up of 12-18 rising stars of the ballet world between the ages of 17 and 21. ABT Studio Company prepares these outstanding young dancers, who hail from all over the globe, to enter American Ballet Theatre or other leading ballet companies worldwide. Nearly 80% of current dancers in American Ballet Theatre are alumni of ABT Studio Company, including 8 Soloists and 14 Principal Dancers - among them Misty Copeland, Isabella Boylston, and Calvin Royal III.

ABT Studio Company dancers perform masterworks of the classical and neoclassical canons alongside contemporary works. The group commissions a wide variety of choreographers to create new, custom ballets on the dancers each season, with a special focus on female choreographers.

Repertoire for this performance includes excerpts from DON QUIXOTE and THE SLEEPING BEAUTY, as well as selections from Ratmansky’s THE SEASONS Pas de Deux.

Change to Online Ticket Delivery & Added Hours

As the holidays approach, online ticket scamming increases. We ask all our RiverCenter patrons to be extra vigilant in making online ticket purchases this year and only purchase directly from your local venues' official ticketing sites.

Together with our ticketing partner ShoWare, rivercenter.org is the only recognized ticket vendor for any performance at RiverCenter. If you purchase from another site, you run the risk of having a bogus ticket and will pay many times over what a ticket costs through our box office.

In partnership with Visit Columbus GA, the Columbus Cultural Arts Alliance, and the Springer Opera House, RiverCenter is working to get the word out about scam ticket sites. To protect our patrons from scammers, RiverCenter will now deliver online tickets 48 hours prior to your scheduled performance. You will still receive a confirmation email at the time of your purchase. Please contact the box office if you have any questions regarding this change.

For your convenience, RiverCenter has now added Saturday box office hours! Visit us at our new external box office window on Broadway between the hours of 10AM to 2PM for all your box office needs.

The opening of the 2023 RiverCenter Gingerbread Village is only a month away, running November 29-December 19!

Registration is free and open to ANYONE who would like to participate. It's a great opportunity to spread some holiday cheer with your co-workers or family!
