RiverCenter presents Christmas with THE WAVE and The Gingerbread Village on

Saturday, December 2, from 11AM until 1 PM in the RiverCenter lobby, just after the conclusion of the

Bi-City Christmas Parade. The holiday open house-style event is FREE, and tickets are not required for admission.

RiverCenter’s beautifully decorated lobby will be filled with holiday wonder as THE WAVE theatre organ will feature a selection of organists playing a festive program of favorite Christmas songs and carols – and bring the kids for photos with Santa and a special scavenger hunt to find items that are part of the Gingerbread Village.

Saturday’s festivities will be the official opening of the 2023 Gingerbread Village, a collection of gingerbread creations by area businesses, organizations, schools, and families. The Village runs through December 19 from 10 AM until 5:30 PM on weekdays, and at December performances.

“We are proud to once again present our annual Gingerbread Village,” said RiverCenter Executive Director Norman Easterbrook. As always, The Village is free to all who would like to visit. These whimsical creations are sure to warm your heart and lift your spirit!”

For those craving even more holiday joy, the Maneuver Center of Excellence Band (MCoE) will present their annual holiday concert on Friday, December 1, at 7:30 PM. The concert is free, but a ticket is required for entry.

Tickets for the MCoE concert are currently available in person at the RiverCenter box office, 900 Broadway in Columbus, GA, or by phone at 706-256-3612. Box office hours are Monday-Friday from 10AM to 5:30 PM, Saturdays 10AM-2PM and 2 hours prior to show. Due to the popularity of this performance each year, there is a limit of 4 tickets per order.
