City Council Members Speak on Golden Park Renovations

After a unanimous vote was made by the Columbus City Council on a nearly 50-million-dollar investment, two councilors have very different takes on the renovation of Golden Park.

Back in December, Columbus City Council voted unanimously to provide funding to Golden Park, the baseball field you see as you enter into Georgia from the Oglethorpe Bridge. Forty-eight million dollars would be used to update Golden Park, giving the city the possibility of having a minor-league baseball team.
