MEEF Announces 55 Muscogee County School District Teacher of the Year Honorees

The Muscogee Educational Excellence Foundation (MEEF) announced 55 Muscogee County School District Teacher of the Year (TOTY) Honorees today, January 24, 2024, at RiverCenter for the Performing Arts.
The MEEF Board of Directors recognized teachers who have devoted themselves to excellence in the classroom. "We're thrilled to celebrate the exceptional educators recognized by MEEF. The 2024 Teacher of the Year Honorees are making a profound difference in the lives of MCSD students, leaving an indelible mark on our community. Their unparalleled passion and dedication to education are reshaping the world." said MEEF Chair Josh Reynolds.
These remarkable teachers, selected by their individual schools, will be acknowledged in a variety of ways throughout the year, beginning with this announcement, breakfast with the National and State Teacher of the Year, and culminating with the Teacher of the Year Gala on Thursday, May 9th at the Trade Center.
At the Gala, business and community supporters of excellence in education, gather to celebrate and honor some of the most talented and respected teachers of MCSD. The 2024 MCSD Teacher of the Year will be announced at the Gala to an expected crowd of over 1,100 public education supporters. Tickets to the Gala
