RiverCenter Presents Soprano Superstar Renée Fleming

RiverCenter presents soprano superstar and 2023 Kennedy Center Honoree, Renée Fleming on Saturday, April 6, 7:30 PM. The concert will feature the Grammy-winning Voice of Nature: the Anthropocene, an eclectic mix of music from composers ranging from Handel to Björk to Bacharach and David, accompanied by a film by National Geographic, creating an immersive experience. The second half of the performance will be filled with beloved classical arias and art songs from Faure, Grieg, Puccini, and even some Jerome Kern. Miss Fleming will be accompanied by pianist Hartmut Höll.
A prominent advocate for research at the intersection of arts, health and neuroscience, Miss Fleming will also present Music and Mind, exploring the connections between arts, human health, and the brain on Friday, April 5, 5:30 PM. Earning Research!America’s 2020 Isadore Rosenfeld Award for Impact on Public Opinion, Fleming has presented the program in more than 50 cities around the world and, in 2020, launched a weekly web show Music and Mind LIVE which has amassed nearly 700,000 views, from 70 countries.

Music and Mind on April 5 is free and open to the public. No tickets are required.
