Columbus Board of Realtors Aims to Open Communication Lines Between Political Officials and the Real Estate Community

This morning, the Columbus Board of Realtors hosted its annual Legislative Breakfast in aiming to open communication lines between political officials and the real estate community.

“Homeownership is a good thing,” said Georgia State Representative, Dale Washburn. “Most first-time home buyers can’t afford homes at the prices at which they currently are. Property taxes are outdated, the system’s outdated and it’s unfair. The idea is – no one’s trying to force this on you from the state, but we’re trying to present the ideas to local government.”
