Chattahoochee Valley Community College (CVCC) is gearing up for an impactful and energetic week with two major events that are sure to bring the campus and community together. From promoting health awareness to celebrating athletic spirit, these events reflect CVCC's commitment to engagement and unity.

Breast Cancer Awareness Run – October 23, 2024
Tomorrow, CVCC invites students, staff, and the public to participate in a special Breast Cancer Awareness Run. The event will kick off at 12:15 PM in front of the IPAC building. Attendees are encouraged to wear their pink attire as a symbol of support and solidarity for those affected by breast cancer. In addition to the run, a courageous breast cancer survivor will share their inspiring story, reminding us all of the importance of awareness and early detection. This event is a powerful way for the CVCC community to unite for a cause that affects so many lives.

Pirate Madness – October 24, 2024
On Thursday, the excitement continues with Pirate Madness at 6 PM in the Key Hall gym. This lively event will officially introduce CVCC’s athletic teams for the upcoming season. Attendees can expect a night full of fun, including games, prizes, music, and more. Pirate Madness is a fantastic opportunity for the campus community to show their Pirate pride and rally together in support of CVCC athletics.

Both events are open to the public, and CVCC encourages everyone to support these initiatives that reflect the college's heart and spirit.
